IMPACT is an annual, public art program developed in 2012 to extend Maryland Art Place’s reach to broader audiences throughout Maryland. Each IMPACT project is unique and developed based on the partnering site. Previous partners include: ARTblocks, Neighborhood Design Center, Towson Town Center, Downtown Partnership, Sunnyfields and the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore. The program is administered through request for proposals of Maryland based artists throughout the year, with each artist (or artists team) given a materials stipend.
