Supporters of Maryland Art Place (MAP)

MAP's innovative exhibitions and programs are made possible through the support provided by MAP members and donors. Membership enables MAP to maintain a beautiful and welcoming facility for artists to exhibit their work and exchange ideas with the public. MAP is pleased to continue bringing contemporary art and programming to the community, free of charge. To date, MAP has exhibited the work of over 5,000 artists in over 400 exhibitions and maintains the work of 2,000 artists in MSAC Maryland Artist Registry.

MAP is supported by grants from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. Funding for the Maryland State Arts Council is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.   Other foundations that support MAP include the William G. Baker Jr., Memorial Fund, The T. Rowe Price Foundation, The France Merrick Foundation and Baltimore County Commission on the Arts and Sciences.
