Directions From the North
Via I-95 South:
Follow I-95 South through the Fort McHenry Tunnel (toll) to exit 53 (I-395
North, Downtown)
Bear left off the exit and follow signs to the Inner Harbor
Continue in the left or center lane
At the third light, make a right onto Pratt Street
Follow Pratt Street to the Power Plant, which will be on your right
Turn left at the light onto Market Place
Market Place ends at the Power Plant Live! Plaza
Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza
Via I-83 South:
Follow I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway) to the merger of I-83 and I-695
West
Continue on I-83/I-695 merger for one mile to Exit 23A (I-83 South, Downtown)
Proceed on I-83 until the expressway ends in the downtown area and becomes
President Street
At the second light, make a right onto Lombard Street
Turn right at the first light onto Market Place
Market Place ends at the Power Plant Live! Plaza
Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza
Directions From the South
Via I-95 North:
Follow I-95 North to Exit 53 (I-395 North, Downtown)
Continue in the left or center lane
At the third light, make a right onto Pratt Street
Follow Pratt Street to the Power Plant, which will be on your right
Turn left at the light onto Market Place
Market Place ends at the Power Plant Live! Plaza
Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza
Directions From the West
Via I-70 East:
Follow I-70 East to Exit 91 (I-695 South, Glen Burnie)
Travel on I-695 South and take Exit 11A (I-95 North, Baltimore)
Proceed on I-95 North to Exit 53 (I-395 North, Downtown)
Continue in the left or center lane
At the third light, make a right onto Pratt Street
Follow Pratt Street to the Power Plant, which will be on your right
Turn left at the light onto Market Place
Market Place ends at the Power Plant Live! Plaza
Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza
Public Transit Directions to MAP
Metro Subway
Westbound: Take Subway from Johns Hopkins Hospital one stop to Shot Tower/Market Place stop. Exit the station, walk across the plaza, and Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza.
Eastbound: Take subway to Shot Tower/Market Place stop. Exit the station, walk across the plaza, and Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza.
Light Rail
Take Light Rail to Lexington Market stop, transfer to Eastbound Subway. Take subway to Shot Tower/Market Place stop. Exit the station, walk across the plaza, and Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza.
Bus
Local Bus Route 3: Take bus to Charles and Pratt Street stop. Walk east on Pratt towards Light Street. Continue on Pratt. Turn left on Market Place. Enter the plaza, and Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza.
Local Bus Route 19: Take bus to State Center Metro Station, transfer to Eastbound subway. Take subway to Shot Tower/Market Place stop. Exit the station, walk across the plaza, and Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza.
Local Bus Route 61: Take bus to Charles and Pratt Street stop. Walk east on Pratt towards Light Street. Continue on Pratt. Turn left on Market Place. Enter the plaza, and Maryland Art Place is located in the Northwest corner of the plaza.
