Maryland Art Place offers a changing schedule of innovative and diverse programming throughout the year that is always made available to the public free of charge. Events include exhibition openings, gallery talks conducted by exhibition curators and participating artists, workshops, professional development events, and lectures by artists and historians.

Location: 4719 Harford Road Baltimore, MD 

Zekes’ Coffee Shop and Maryland Art Place (MAP) are pleased to present Generation: Crit III, an exhibition featuring artworks from a local Maryland Art Crit Group from Center Arts and Studios located at the Mill Center. 

Generation, is a series of exhibitions developed by MAP to promote the work of artist groups or collectives who come together to support, critique and inspire one another.  Join us for the opening reception held at Zeke’s Coffee located at 4719 Harford Road on Saturday, June 8 from 12 to 2 pm. 

Exhibiting Artists include: 

Mark Cameron, David  Diaz, Elizabeth English,  Calliandra Hermanson, Ashley Kidner,  Karen Klinedinst, Jennifer McBrien, Helen Sgouros, Leslie Shellow and Virginia Warwick.

ABOUT ZEKE’s: In 205 Thomas Rhodes sold his first pound of coffee at the Baltimore Farmers Market. One year later he opened a retail space on Harford Road in Lauraville, and further expanded his operations to a fully functioning café just down the street at 4719 Harford Road in 2017. www.zekescoffee.com
